A Great Day In Columbus

A Great Day In Columbus

Had a fantastic day yesterday full of shooting and learning. Shot this picture while waiting for my friend Josh to get some shots of the lovely Charlie.

One of three main reasons I breathe.

This little guy is the youngest of my three boys. We have realllly been enjoying all the nice weather. I have shot some baseball games, some random assignments in the last few weeks…but NOTHING beats photographing my children while they live there little lives. I went to Sidney to shoot an engagement shoot and my favorite shots were of my son afterward. Loving this weather and thankful for these children.

Maundy Thursday Service

This Crusifix was whittled out of one piece of wood by Carl Corrello. The tennenbra holder was created by his son Car E. Corrello.

Last night I was given a retiring pastor assignment.  I was actually pretty excited because I am well aware of the VERY cool art that can come from a religious service.  Retiring pastor Doug Adams led the Maundy Thursday service held at the Southside Christian Church in Lima Ohio.  It was absolutely beautiful.  The bell choir played a haunting anthem called “Hope”, the choir sang just the right music and the Tenenbrae service was chilling to say the absolute least.   I can actually say it was an honor to attend this man’s last Maundy Thursday service!
